Logo for HRSA, the Health Resources and Services Administration

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is the primary Federal agency for improving health care to people who are geographically isolated, economically or medically vulnerable.

HRSA programs help those in need of high quality primary health care, people living with HIV/AIDS, pregnant women and mothers. HRSA supports the training of health professionals, distribution of providers to areas where they are needed most, and improvements in health care delivery. HRSA also oversees organ, bone marrow and cord blood donation. It compensates individuals harmed by vaccination, and maintains databases that protect against health care malpractice, waste, fraud and abuse.

Find a Health Center

HRSA Health Centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance – you pay what you can afford based on your income. Health centers provide services that include checkups when you are well, treatment when you are sick, complete care when you are pregnant, and immunizations and checkups for your children. Some health centers also provide mental health, substance abuse, oral health, and/or vision services. Contact the health center organization directly to confirm the availability of specific services and to make an appointment.
